So last Friday we had a wonderful opportunity. To go to Knoxville and meet Tony Hawk while he was on the road with Birdhouse/Quicksilver promoting his awesome new game Tony Hawk: Shred. Ummm yeah! So there. Grabbed the kids outta school rented a car and drove to Knoxville. Gabriel got to ride around the skatepark and practice while Isabella kept grabbing the camera outta my hands. Then the moment came. The Quicksilver bus pulled into Tyson Park. Kids went wild. We got some free Tech Decks and the kids played some games over at the truth bus. Then we grabbed some Powerade slapped our red bracelets on and proceeded to meet Tony Hawk. The kids were starstruck. Heck for a moment I was. Back in the day I used to skate and hung around nothing but skaters. This was AMAZING. Check out the video below:
