I’m going to be honest. I struggle with routine. Every time I think I have the kids and me on a routine I get bored or they do and we don’t do our chores. That’s why I jumped at the chance to check out Goal For it for a chore chart and behavior charts. You have total control over what you add and it’s super simple to create a chart with just a few clicks of the mouse. Here’s an example of my personal chore chart. As you can see I skipped the dishes one day, but hey aren’t moms allowed a few off days?
What is a chore chart? From goalforit.com:
Our Chore Chart is an easy-to-use tool that helps teach kids about responsibility, proper behavior & manners and habits for good health … all essential skills for helping a child develop a great foundation for their future. You can customize your child’s chart by choosing a background and adding goals & chores from the 40 different ones we offer. You can also create custom goals & chores too. And since our charts are interactive, they can either be managed online or printed off.
My favorite thing about Goal for it is that it’s 100% FREE! You can’t beat FREE. PLUS you can keep track either online or offline by printing out your various charts. So we plan on using Goal For It not to keep a stricter house, but to just help give us an idea of what we have and haven’t done for the week.
