Hot Holiday Gift: Skylanders Giants Wii Video Game from Best Buy Review

The Giants Story:

Thousands of years ago, the Giants fought epic battles in Skylands but were banished to Earth. With a new threat looming, it’s time to bring them back to join forces with the Skylanders to defeat KAOS. Only you can put them on the Portal of Power® to unleash their strength in the ultimate battle to save Skylands!

The kids have loved playing the Skylanders game over the years. The only thing that they ever complained about was they wish the action figures were bigger. Well Skylanders took care of that and brought us Skylanders Giants.

Those not familiar with the game let me fill you in. It’s actually pretty cool. Supposedly the Skylanders are “frozen” in our world, but come alive in theirs. So you have a special “Portal of Power” and you place your Skylander Action Figure on it. Then like magic your figure is on and your playing with it!

With The Giants Game you get super sized giants with all new super sized powers. This time your on a new adventure to prevent KAOS from taking control of an ancient robot army.

The kids like playing in battle mode so they face off and see which Giant is the “Portal Master” and so far Isabella is winning.

Isabella’s (8) Review:
“This is my favorite Wii game. Most people think it’s for boys, but it’s not. My favorite Skylanders is Tree Rex because he usually wins. I beat my brother and am Portal Master! I think kids will like this game.”

Your daughter is one smart cookie. There aren’t boy or girl games! My daughter likes to play video games that are supposed to be for boys too.
