The holidays are quickly approaching, and everyone knows that kids that have been good all year reap the most rewards. YoYo.com (toys), AfterSchool.com (sports and activities), and Bookworm.com (books) – a family of kids sites from Quidsi, the folks that brought you Diapers.com – are taking goodness to an extreme this holiday season with the Search for the “Goodest” Kid contest. The contest will reward one grand-prize winner with a $5,000 Ultimate Holiday Shopping spree across the sites to buy tons of toys, sports gear and books, and offers parents an easy way to share their kids’ holiday gift wish list with friends and family. Ten runners up will win a $100 gift card to shop the sites.
To enter, parents simply visit www.thegoodestkid.com, and submit a short video of their child boasting about their abundant good deeds, along with their kid’s top gift pick from each site, creating a sharable wish list to help friends and family shop for the perfect gift. Watch a fun video with more info and to see how some kids have been good below:
Upon submission of their child’s video, parents will be able to select their kid’s top gift pick from each of the three sites, creating a sharable wish list to help friends and family shop for the perfect gift. All entrants will also receive a 15% off coupon ($15 maximum discount) to be used on YoYo.com, AfterSchool.com and Bookworm.com to help fulfill their child’s wish list. Videos can be submitted until December 16, 2012 @ 11:59 p.m. Eastern. On or about December 17, 2012, all eligible entries received will be judged by a panel of qualified judges based on the following criteria: Creativity (25%); Goodness of Child’s Deeds (50%); Enthusiasm (25%). Winners will be announced on December 21st, 2012.
So make a quick video! Let your kiddo share why they should win “the goodest kid contest.” What A Christmas present THAT would be!
