Step inside the Beast’s enchanted castle for a delicious quick-service lunch or a delightful sit-down dinner. Just ask the dishes!
When I was in Florida for the #Kiss10 Event I was SUPER excited to check out some of New Fantasyland. ESPECIALLY the NEW Be Our Guest Restaurant. I’m sure I’ve said it before, but Belle is my favorite princess therefore Beauty and the Beast is my favorite movie.
We went for the Quick Service lunch. Which, if you’ve been to Disney World you know is your usual hamburger, sandwich, chicken, or salad on a paper plate. Good, but nothing fancy and “quick” to eat. When you walk up there is a line, but do not worry it moves fast. It being Disney, the queue line is AH-MAZING. So many details. Such exquisite decorating. Your time in line flies by when looking around.
Disney has made quick service even quicker if that’s possible:
Order with a touch-screen terminal and food magically appears at your table. These state-of-the-art touch-screen terminals allow you to customize your order so that our chefs can efficiently prepare and serve with flair a meal to your liking! Cash orders and special dietary requests may still be made through cashiers also on hand. And even though it’s quick service, Mrs. Potts has insisted that you’ll still dine in a manner befitting royalty, with real china and flatware.
I went with #3. The Croque Monsieur which was a grilled sandwich of carved Ham, Guyere Cheese and Beschamel with Pomme Frites. (aka A Grilled Ham & Cheese with Fries). For a reasonable $10.99! After ordering it was time to decide which room we wanted to eat in. You have the option of mysterious West Wing, Belle’s book-filled Library or the grand 2-story Ballroom. When we walked into the Ballroom I said a few ooohhhhs and awwwwws. We went no further. After sitting about 15-20 minutes our food arrived. Remember when I said Quick Service Dining is usually on paper plates? Not this! We have full china and flatware.
As the French say it was très magnifique! For lunch, there was a lot of food on my plate. I was starving and I could not eat it all. It was one of my all time favorite Disney World meals. Even with it just being a sandwich and fries! Both you and the kids would love to take a few minutes out of your day to eat lunch here…..AND check out the beautiful scenery. Here a few pics from the other rooms in the Be Our Guest Restaurant The lighting is really low so I wasn’t able to grab more than a few great shots.
