One of the things that I enjoyed the most during our #BloggersGo trip to Phoenix was Horseback Riding at Fort McDowell Adventures. It was a quick van drive and then we were out in the AZ wilderness. The scenry was amazing and perfect weather for the day. I used to ride at my grandmothers house many moons ago. I think the last time I was up on a horse I was 9 years old and it was bareback just going around the farm. So, I was a bit nervous.
We were introduced to the horses and I got on a beautiful black beauty. Everyone saddled up and we were off! It was a very leisurely walk down the trail. My horse was a little stubborn and wanted to stop and eat every few minutes, but that made it even more fun. This would be a great family outing activity. The horses know the trail and you are walking almost the entire time. There was a couple of places where we crossed a creel or two and that was nice. The entire ride was just relaxing. Check out some of my pics from our adventures below. (PS taking pictures while riding a horse is harder than it looks)
