***Disclosure: I reviewed a Nissan Altima and was provided the car by Nissan. All opinions are 100% mine. ***
What makes me fall in love with a vehicle? I’m pretty easy to please. I want a solid vehicle that protects my family and that also has some great features. Decent gas mileage is always a help too. The 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL is all that and more. My family and I reviewed it for a week and I was sad to see it go. Check out my driving experience below:
The 2013 Nissan Altima is the Most innovative Altima ever. It has an overall vehicle score of 5 Stars! That’s the best possible and mean a lot to a mom like me. The score is based on the combine ratings of frontal, side, and rollover.

I’m a big Vine user and loved being able to capture my favorite features of the car like the push button start.
High Intensity Discharge Xenon Lights Illuminate the road ahead with a brighter, more defined pattern than conventional headlights.
I wear glasses and these headlights make it easier for me to drive at night.
MECHANICAL & PERFORMANCE
The all-new 2013 Nissan Altima driving experience is where innovation pays off. Better acceleration than Camry, Accord, or Sonata[*]. Responsiveness. Handling. And 38MPG of best-in-class fuel economy[*] to ensure that passing the pump is as easy as passing that truck up ahead.
The performance and Handling of the Altima was amazing. You could feel the car accelerating slightly and it took curves like a charm. I love a vehicle that’s easy to drive and the Altima is just that.
COMFORT & CONVENIENCE
Luxury interior design.
Nissan softened the edges, sculpted the lines and took the idea of open space inside. Then they quieted everything down. The result – a serene cabin of unexpected spaciousness and luxury, where premium materials combine to create an atmosphere of class that is simply a class above.
Advanced Drive-Assist™ Display
From optional turn-by-turn navigation, to caller ID, the new Advanced Drive-Assist™ Display does it for you in one central location. It’s specially designed to make it easy for you to get info quickly, allowing you to focus on what matters most – driving.
I really liked this. All my information right in front of me and I could switch back and forth to the information I wanted to look at with the steering wheel which meant my eyes were on the road and not trying to figure out buttons. Also, as a blogger I’m constantly plugged in. The hands free options in the Altima were super nice. I could make a phone call, stream my favorite music, text message, use navigation and more through NissanConnect
Overall, I was extremely happy with the 2013 Nissan Altima. It was the perfect family car! The kids and husband enjoyed it as much as I did and that’s always important. If your in the car market I’d add this to your shortlist. Take a testdrive and see for yourself! I promise you’ll thank me after.
