By now everyone is familiar with Disney “shorts”. We all make sure to get to the theater a little early just to make sure we can see these amazing short films that are like I’ve said numerous times full of heart and emotion. Before FROZEN, you can catch “Get a Horse”. This short is a little different from what we’ve come to know and love. This harkens back to the Golden Era of when Disney was starting to become the beloved brand we love today. It starts out slow and builds up to a revolutionary new way at looking at animation. So make sure you see this short on the big screen!
MUSIC IS IN THE AIR – An animation cel showcases Mickey Mouse as he invites his favorite gal pal Minnie to join him on a musical haywagon ride
HERE COMES TROUBLE – Peg-Leg Pete interrupts Mickey Mouse and his favorite gal pal Minnie in this animation cel as they delight in a musical haywagon ride
The black-and-white, hand-drawn short features Walt Disney himself as the voice of Mickey Mouse. The story follows Mickey, his favorite gal pal, Minnie, and their friends Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow. The gang is enjoying a musical haywagon ride (as seen above) until Peg-Leg Pete shows up and tries to run them off the road.
