***Disclosure: I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Alcon. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating ***
Before getting glasses I had no idea what I was missing. I knew I had bad eyesight and had to squint at things faraway, but I thought it was normal. My mom took me to the eye Dr. at 12 and I got my first pair of glasses. It was fall. I came outside of the mall and was amazed at the color and detail of the leaves and the sidewalk. I kept saying, “MOM! Everything is so beautiful!” She cried because she didn’t know it was that bad either. Now as a mom myself, I get my kids eyesight checked often. Now for the fun part!
#EyeSawGood is a charitable campaign from Alcon’s THE eye SOLUTIONTM and Kids Vision for Life. The campaign inspires people to help provide proper eye care for children in need across the US. It’s concept is simple: see good, share good, and make good happen. For every #EyeSawGood picture shared on Twitter, Alcon will donate $1, up to $50,000, which will fund more than 1,000 eye exams and eyeglasses for children in need.
