***Disclosure: I’m attending multiple events in LA . My flight, lodgings, and expenses were covered by Disney and myself. All opinions are 100% mine. ***
Sometimes you get invited to events and your excited about them and sometimes emails come and the list of events has you screaming WHAT?! FOR SERIOUS?! All of that in just a few days?! COUNT ME IN!. I’m SUPER proud to announce I’ll be one the 26 Bloggers attending:
This will involve attending the red carpet premiere of MUPPETS MOST WANTED (opening in theatres on 3/21) and interviewing Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and additional cast and filmmakers from the movie! I’ve met both Kermit and Miss Piggy before and there love is palpable. This sequel looks like an even funnier movie and the excitement of seeing the Muppets on the Red Carpet is totally fun! I’m sure Miss Piggy will outshine us all. Now, I must figure out what to wear!
We’ll have the chance to screen Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER (opening in theatres on 4/4) and interview TBD cast and filmmakers at the press junket! I’m CRAZY excited about seeing this one since I was able to see some of it on set last year.
If THAT wasn’t jam packed enough ABC has invited us to visit the Los Angeles studio where GREY’S ANATOMY and GENERAL HOSPITAL both tape, where we will have the chance to meet & greet with select cast members, get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of production, and more!
The lovely Jessica Capshaw (“Dr. Arizona Robbins”) will be our host for the tour of the GREY’S set. THEN my favorite hour…a cocktail hour with the Moms of ABC – both real-life and TV moms from the most popular shows and new shows.
That evening, we’ll see two special screenings at ABC headquarters, each introduced and hosted by the respective executive producers: The second episode of our soon-to-premiere drama Resurrection and The two-part wedding episode of new hit comedy Trophy Wife.
The last day of this EPIC jam packed event will include a visit the set of THE MIDDLE, host a Q&A with the creators and executive producers, Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline (who each grew up in the Midwest and created the show largely based on their own experiences), screen an upcoming episode and also meet & greet with available cast members.
Then last, but not least screen an upcoming special “junior” episode of SHARK TANK, featuring kid entrepreneurs pitching their ideas to the Sharks, followed by a delicious lunch.
Sounds CRAZY AMAZING right?! Be sure to follow all 26 bloggers by using the hashtags listed above. We will be tweeting up a storm and sharing lots of fun pictures and info via various social media channels. Have any question you would like asked? Feel free to tweet or leave a comment below!
