Grab the family this weekend and head out to check out Strange Magic in theaters! From the mind of George Lucas comes an adorable film for all ages. It’s an animated musical mashup that will leave everyone happy. It makes you and the kiddos think about love….true love and how sometimes you can find it in the most unexpected places.
You have 2 different fairy kingdoms who couldn’t be more different from each other. You’ll see fairies, goblins, elves, fairies imps and other magical creatures. Within these 2 kingdoms we meet Sunny, Dawn, and Marianne. Who bebop it along to popular music and are trying to find the meaning of love.
Meanwhile in the Dark Kingdom we meet the Bog King who is keeping the lovely sugarplum fairy trapped….why? She can make a love potion and apparently she did something awful to the Bog King one fateful day a long time ago.
This madcap fairy tale musical inspired by “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” takes a turn when Roland ropes Sunny into his plan to re-kidnap the sugarplum fairy to make a love potion for them. You will laugh and sing all through their adventure. It’s a treat for all.
Strange Magic features a super talented cast made up of Alan Cumming, Evan Rachel Wood, Kristin Chenoweth, Maya Rudolph, Sam Palladio, Meredith Anne Bull, Alfred Molina, Elijah Kelley, Bob Einstein, and Peter Stormare. Who can sing and make your heart melt. So like I said grab the family this weekend and check it out!
