Confession Time…On a day to day basis I basically live in my pajamas. When I was younger I experimented with my hair and even wore heels, platforms, and wedges until the fateful time I fell into Tom Hiddleston’s waiting arms. As I’ve gotten older I’ve found myself being tame. When I got the invite to this event I was specifically told I could not wear a black dress. Had I become so predictable?? I thought about it…and I had fell into a routine most moms do. Taking care of kids, husbands, day to day life. Alright then…challenge accepted.
After I found the perfect Calvin Klein dress in “Lagoon Blue” I went shoe shopping. I went outside of my box and got these babies. Bling, Sparkles, and wedges. Then I went drastic on my hair. It was time for a change and I wanted to make a statement. So Rhianna Red it was. I was officially armed and ready.
Every little girl has dreams of being a princess one day. When a women feels beautiful she looks it. There is beauty in everyone and JCPenney strove to make us at feel it at the Glam Ball they held for the Cinderella Premiere. We walked into a suite at the hotel and were immediately met with our own personal Prince Charming. Mr. Charming swept me around the room and told me I would be getting my hair styled, make up applied, and get 2 accessories to match my outfit…..Oh and there was Champagne or Mimosas and Hors d’oeuvres if I needed them. The Glam Ball had officially begun!
Having time to consult with the pros really makes a difference. They know how to make you look good. I took the advice of the make up artist who wanted to make my eyes pop. The hair stylist wanted to add some body and do finger waves. The fashion consultant picked out some amazing earrings that matched my dress and a clutch that was sleek and chic.
Isn’t it amazing what a little makeup and styling can do? 😉
Remember if you YOU want to feel glamorous stop by JCPenney. They have the latest in fashion, accessories, and make up to make you have your own Cinderella moment.
