I told you all about our Glam Ball experience so now it’s time for me to share even more fun! We headed over to the famous El Capitan Theatre where JCPenney had a cute Pre-Reception where we were able to see costumes and images from the movie. The detail work on every single piece was amazing. I can’t even imagine. I’ll share more about the costumes in my upcoming interview with Sandy Powell herself. Until then glance at these:
Then it was time for the EPIC walk down the Red Carpet! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again! Disney sure knows how to throw a party! So everyone grabbed a camera buddy and we started the walk. Those 3-5 minutes walking behind the stars are intense. You have butterflies in your stomach, you are trying to capture it via pictures to share on social media and for mementos. At the same time you are mentally snapshotting it. All while trying to remember to smile and suck in the fat that your spanx isn’t holding. 😉
The stars looked beautiful as always!
Lily James and Richard Madden truly were the perfect casting as Ella and Kit (aka Cinderella and Prince Charming). You can see their chemistry in this picture and can tell they have a true friendship…and that DRESS!!
I wanted to share with you the craziness of the carpet so I snapped this behind the scenes pic showing Grumpy Cat getting carried down the carpet. See all those paparazzi and the reporters in a line? They announce who is walking next and the crowd goes wild! Chanting their name to look this way or that way. I can’t imagine dealing with that on a day to day basis. Then the next pic shows it from the other view.
After walking the carpet we were ushered to the official reception. It had cute little craft areas for the kids. I even went and stood at a table and snuck my heels off for a few minutes while I stood and just watched everything happening. Like I’ve said before stars are just like us. Some brought children and were letting them create crafts. Some were drinking juice boxes and others were just mingling around chatting. It was an amazing experience I will never forget. Thanks Disney! Now, don’t forget to Mark your calendars for March 13 2015 so you can grab the family and take them toCINDERELLA & FROZEN FEVER!
