No one expected Frozen to be the crazy hit that it was. When I first saw the movie I was obsessed. Just because I may a grown woman doesn’t mean that I didn’t cry a bit, laugh a lot, and sing the songs. We may not yet have Frozen 2 on the horizon yet, (SURELY there has to be one though? RIGHT?!) however, we do have the short FROZEN FEVER which you can only see when you head to theaters this weekend to see Cinderella which opens March 13. It’s been a year since Directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck released Frozen, but Chris says he “still shops at TJ Maxx.” They do love seeing how their movie touches lives all over the world. They love the parodies and mentioned Frozen Vs. The thing a claymation one that sounds pretty awesome. HE got a little serious and told us a few stories that are dear to his heart:
There are autistic kids that watch Frozen that parents tell us they don’t sit still for anything, and they watch Frozen, and they relate to Olaf. Just a few weeks ago a friend of ours working at a nursing home, and a senior citizen just…She sort of internal and not doing much. And she watched Frozen and then she started drawing again. ‘Cause she used to draw when she was younger. She was drawing the Frozen characters. Her husband was just so grateful she was coming back to life. So you get those are the stories that we go oh wow. And that’s how I think our life has changed.
So what is Frozen Fever about?
In “Frozen Fever,” it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but when Elsa catches a cold, her powers may put more than just the party at risk.
Another Fun Fact is that you will be able to buy Anna and Elsa’s dresses and lots of NEW Frozen merchandise to tie in so feel free to retire those old Halloween Costumes for the Frozen princess in your life!
I’ve seen Frozen Fever twice now and loved it both times. It’s everything you love about the original PLUS a few fun new things. New fun charachters and best of all a NEW SONG! Maybe we can finally retire “Let It Go’? Except for special occasions of course!
