I’ve been guilty of vauguebooking lately, vauguetweeting, and even vaugeinstagramming. I know. I promise to reveal more soon! I can however tell you about one of the best desserts I have ever had. While in Vegas for #LKCollectors we met Chef Paul Bartolotta who was just as charming as he is talented. We hopped on over to his restaurant at the Wynn: Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare. The restaurant itself is a beauty to behold. It has that old school glamour to it. We dined out on the patio. It’s hard to believe that the restaurant is located right on the strip. It’s like a magic piece of property. I heard no cars, taxis, or people. It was just a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by beauty.
I definitely want to go back so I can try some of his famous dishes. His menu, created nightly, features fresh Mediterranean seafood and Italian coastal cuisine with house-made pastas and over forty varieties of fresh fish and shellfish flown in daily from Italian waters. The reason for this being that your meal actually tastes different depending on how the fish is caught. I never would have even thought of that.
On to the Desserts
I wasn’t prepared for the “symphony of desserts” Chef Paul had prepared for us. Sorbetti, gelati, and Granite. Made daily. I honestly could not find a favorite! I DID like the panna cotta con macedonia di frutti di bosco and wish I could whip it up at home.
Bottom line, if you are looking for a beautiful restaurant and an amazing dining experience while you are in Las Vegas then head on over to Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare at Wynn. You will not be disappointed!
