Set visits are fun and you always see a few odds and ends that are intriguing. I like to focus on the small things like what is on the coffee table, what books are in the bookcases, the pictures hanging up. It’s these small things that help the actors get into character and makes a set feel more like life. So, let’s get to the pictures and check out the Rainbow house:
This piece of paper was actually hanging in the production office and I grabbed a snap before we hit the set along with the plans below.
I love seeing the “magic” take for instance you can see the lights and the backdrop in this picture really well.

Dre thinks Christmas has become commercialized and is all about “stuff,” and no one loves “stuff” more than his kids. Pops and Ruby think they have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas and come up with a new plan to pare down gifts and spend more time together. The kids don’t handle the news well and hope that if they put on their best behavior Dre and Bow will cave in. Meanwhile, Daphne Lido (played by Wanda Sykes), who is single for her first holiday alone, invites herself to the Johnson family home to celebrate with them, on “black-ish,”
