Let me just say this has been one of the most crazy, fun, exciting years as a blogger yet and it’s going out with a BANG!. Now, do you know how hard it is too keep a secret that you want to shout out to the rooftops?!? Sometimes we are barely even allowed to tell our family and this one was under strict orders not to be shouted, texted, or shared until right at this moment. You see as you are reading this I am flying to LA for an epic #STARWARSEVENT + MORE!! I’ll tell you all about that in a second, but first wanted to share my Star Wars Special Memory with you guys.
Let’s say this upfront: I know about 80% of you has a Star Wars memory and I want to hear them! Feel free to leave a comment here or on social media of your special Star Wars memory. Back to the story, I think I was probably around 8 when I saw the first trilogy and loved it even then. I wanted to grow up and be Leia. A few years later I also wanted to be Belle so a Belle/Lei combo would have worked out fine. Everyone in my family loved Star Wars, but we didn’t have a lot growing up so I wasn’t a hard core fan then. My story comes full circle with my kids.
I remember the first time either one of them saw Darth Vader was when we went to Disney World. There was awe and a little bit of skepticism. “WHO IS THAT?!” As soon as we got home we had a marathon. Every single Star Wars with lightsaber duals in between films. (Yes if you are wondering I have my own lightsaber as well. I mean who doesn’t?)Then a few months later we went back to Florida and the goal of both kids was “Jedi Training.” I kid you not. We got in line at Hollywood Studios first thing and waited over an hour just so that they would be one of the chosen. Then it happened. They were picked, trained, and fought THE DARK SIDE including Darth Vader himself:
Since then we watch a Star Wars movie marathon once a year and are all super excited for The Force Awakens. Now let’s take a look at some of the experiences I will be doing out in LA and sharing on social media:

CHARACTERS: CREATING THE CITIZENS OF ZOOTOPIA
The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when rookie Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia,” a comedy-adventure directed by Byron Howard (“Tangled,” “Bolt”) and Rich Moore (“Wreck-It Ralph,” “The Simpsons”) and co-directed by Jared Bush (“Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero”), opens in theaters on March 4, 2016.
