One thing I wanted to do more of in 2016 was to journal during my travels. The only problem was that I want to share them with you guys too. So I figure after each adventure I’ll just post an entry with my rants, musings, and observations. Maybe you guys will like it….maybe it’s just mindless dribble. Who knows, but I’m excited to share some entries while I was traveling to Orlando 3/22-3/25. Play catch up and read previous entries: #TravelJournal2016
The City That Never Sleeps
I LOVE going to New York. The energy, the vibe, it all combines to be a place that you have to experience. Every time I’ve been to NYC I see or learn something new. The culture you can experience in one city blows my mind as a southern girl from a small time. It truly is the city that never sleeps and I love every minute of it.
Reminiscing About My First NYC Trip
I remember the very first time I went to NYC. It was actually just a few years ago and while I have traveled a lot in the past 10 years experiencing NYC totally blew my mind. It truly is a concrete jungle, but in the midst of all of that they have Central Park which was quiet and peaceful and full of serenity. The first time I walked down Times Square I was a bit overwhelmed. The lights, the people, the sounds it all combined and I had to take a moment to decompress. Then after that I couldn’t get enough. I fed off that energy and will always have a place in my heart for New York.
What’s travel without me trying out some new sushi place. We went to a place called Natsumi and it was AH-Mazing. What was even better? The Sake! We had a Sake flight of 4 different types of Sake and I enjoyed every single one. What is Sake?
Sake, often spelled saké in English, is a Japanese rice wine made by fermenting rice that has been polished to remove the bran
If you haven’t tried it then you should! It’s truly AH-Mazing!
That’s it for this week. April will be here soon and I will be CRAZY BUSY! I currently have 4 trips line up and the first one will be 4/3-4/5 in LA so I’ll be back next week with an update. Ciao!
