Being a blogger and social media influencer in today’s world means lots of conference opportunities. I have been to some that were eh and some that leave me inspired. We are a tight knit community who gets excited over fellow colleagues accomplishments and can pull together when tragedy strikes and help those that need it. I’ve been listening to talk around the virtual water cooler and have heard that THE conference you want to go to is Mom 2.0 Summit. I’ve heard nothing, but great things and have heard that this is where I need to go to connect with similar minded folks. So I’m going!!
What exactly is it?
Mom 2.0 is a gathering of influencers and leaders who create content online and on the air in parenting, entertainment, food, politics, business, marketing, technology, social change, travel, and design.
Meet smart people. Hear success stories. Discover what’s working. Discuss ways to create smarter creative content, impactful web-based marketing, as well as new programs, people, and platforms that engage your audience and build relationships.

Why I’m going with Kia
Kia is a familiar face around both Mom 2.0 as well as Dad 2.0 and they are back again this year as a presenting sponsor. Those that know me know I LOVE working with Kia as a brand. I’ve worked with Kia on a number of different types of campaigns the past couple of years such as Vehicle Reviews, National Press Introductions, Covering Auto Shows, and Content Creation. I’m happy to announce all that work has now flourished into me becoming a Kia Brand ambassador. Myself and Kristy Smith from MeetKristy.com will be at Mom 2.0 to experience the conference for the first time and also introduce bloggers and social media influencers that are interested in learning more about Kia as a brand and all the different programs Kia has to offer. Why was I convinced Kia was the car brand for me? The vehicles speak for themselves. Technology, safety, luxury, and more. However, the team behind the vehicles are just as important. Kia cares about the bloggers and Social Media Influencers they work with. They want to develop a relationship and not just have a one-off review or post and that spoke volumes to me.
What is Kia bringing to Mom 2.0?
Shuttle Service from the Airport to the Ritz
Ride from the airport to the hotel in style with both the Kia Sorento and Kia Sedona. They will be offering FREE shuttle from John Wayne Airport, which is also sometimes called Santa Ana Airport to BOTH The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, and Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa.
Kia Studio Suite
A Similar setup to what Kia brought last year, but upgraded. Need new headshots? How about a group picture with your tribe? Actually, be IN the picture instead of just taking it. Kia will have professional photographers to capture you in both serious mode and one full of fun.
Ride and Drive
Last year, Kia took a ride with some passionate moms at the Mom 2.0 Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona. The test drove the new 2016 Sorento and shared stories about being a mother. Every mom has their own stories about motherhood, and Kia learned what inspires them, what makes them happy, what challenges them and so much more. It’s not always easy being a Mother, and they know that. Kia is committed to Moms and the families that make them important.
This year, Kia will be at it again. Not only will you be able to get behind the wheel of a Kia Optima or Sportage, but they have created a map of highlights. So grab a few friends meet us in the Kia Lounge and let’s go for a ride and chat about what motherhood means to you.
