Pokemon is sweeping the world and my house. What better way to celebrate Pokemon than creating this awesome Poke Ball Pizzas!
- 1 Tube of 8 count large biscuits(I used Pillsbury Grands)
- Small can of pizza sauce(or go ahead and use left over spaghetti sauce if you have some on hand)
- Black olives(I chose to get a big can and slice them myself. We love eating the extras!)
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pop open the tube of biscuits and lay them on a baking sheet. Gently flatten them out with your fingertips. When you have them all flattened, spread about a tablespoon of pizza sauce on each one. Sprinkle about 1/4 cup of cheese on each one.
Now comes the fun part! Pokeball assembly! I put 4 regular sized pepperoni slices on the top half. You can use more or less depending on how big your “ball” is. Next, I placed one olive slice under the pepperoni in the center of each biscuit. To make the line I cut the slices in half and arranged them straight out from the olive circle.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is light golden brown. When they are finished baking, remove them from the baking sheet and head out on your Pokemon hunt! These are great meals to take on the Go! They would also make a great themed meal for a kid’s birthday party! Heck, I might even have some the next time my friends come over…
