With Halloween just around the corner it’s time to gather all the fun Halloween Recipes you can find! Today we have these super cool Monster Eyeball Halloween Cupcakes for you that are super easy to do:
- 1 package of Green Cake Mix plus everything needed to make it (you could also use a white mix and tint it green with food coloring)
- White frosting
- M&M candies
- 1-2 Tbs Nutella
- Lavender colored candy melts
Start by making the cupcakes according to the package directions and let them cool completely. When they have cooled, invite the kids in to help! Spread about 1 Tbs of frosting in a circle on the top of the cupcake. I used a tube of frosting to help control the size of the circle.
Put 1-2 Tbs of Nutella into the corner of a sealable sandwich bag. Cut the very end of the tip to create a VERY small hole in the end of the corner. You can always go bigger if the hole is too small. Squeeze squiggly lines onto the white frosting to make it look like the blood vessels in the eyes. I found the squigglier, the better!
Center a lavender candy melt in the middle of the white frosting with the flat side up on each cupcake. Squirt a tiny bit of Nutella into the middle of the candy melt. This will be the glue for your M&M pupil. Place any color M&M on each cupcake. Monsters have all sorts of colors of eyes, so get creative!!
