About the Catch:
Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos) is LA’s top private investigator — and the one woman you don’t want to mess with. But when her fiancé (Peter Krause) cons her out of millions and disappears, Alice goes on a private mission for payback. No matter where it leads or the secrets she must keep along the way, Alice will stop at nothing to catch her man. From the producers of “Scandal,” “Greys Anatomy” and “How to Get Away with Murder,” “The Catch” is a one-hour drama starring Mireille Enos, Peter Krause, Alimi Ballard, Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Rose Rollins, Elvy Yost and Sonya Walger.
Season 2 Featureette
While last year I went on set of The Catch this year I viewed an upcoming episode and sat down with Allan Heinberg AND Sonya Walger to get all the SCOOP from the upcoming season and behind the scenes.
Changing the Dynamic
The thing that sounds the most exciting is that they are spinning the entire dynamic of the show. Which means a reinvention for Season 2. I’m super excited to see exactly what that is. We were also told of a HUGE TWIST upcoming that we have yet to see by Sonya Walger. What could it be? I have a lot of theories as do the fans of the show, but I guess we will have to keep tuning in to see!
Why This Show
During our sit down with Allan Heinberg. We asked him, “Why this show?” His answer was, “I had been on Scandal when I got this job, and Grey’s Anatomy before Scandal, so I’d been in Shondaland for about ten years. I had a real sense of what I would wanna see if I were watching Thursday nights, and I knew that if murder, like, murder is pretty dark for me, so I knew I wanted a sort of lighter, more fun, sexy, fashion forward- I worked on Sex in the City; I sort of miss that- I miss smart people talking smartly to each other, wearing amazing clothes, and talking about real love issues like how relationships really work.” That’s how The Catch was born!
