Now is the season for everything Pumpkin Spice! Here is a really easy recipe for a deliciously moist cake for every Pumpkin Spice lover to enjoy!
- Yellow cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 can pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 tbsp butter (melted)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together cake mix, eggs, oil and pumpkin puree for 2 minutes until the batter is smooth and fluffy. Pour it into a greased 9×13 pan and even it out.
In a smaller bowl, mix together sugar, melted butter and pumpkin spice. Sprinkle it all over the top of the cake batter. Next, you’ll want to use a fork or spoon to press the sugar mixture into the cake. Don’t be shy! Press it in good!
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when poked into the center. You can wait until it cools or eat it warm. Add a little whipped cream or eat it plain. There’s no real rule here! All I know is, my family can’t wait to dive in!
